Our Firm

We provide legal services to local and foreign companies and individuals on Romanian law consultancy and litigation matters, as well as on Romanian law issues arising under documentation governed by the laws of foreign jurisdictions, including integrated advice with professionals from other consultancy areas, such as financial consultants, accountants, tax advisors.

AS Legal Advice combines the valuable expertise of more than 16 years, each, of its two coordinator lawyers, Cezara Szakacs and Raul Andriuc, gained with reputable law firms from Magic Circle and Big4.

The firm focuses mainly on M&A, Commercial and Corporate areas. The team provides legal assistance on complex transactions involving assets / shares / business acquisitions, due diligence, joint ventures, as well as day to day advice on all the legal aspects concerning a company, specific commercial operations and contracts and integrated advice on business (re)structuring together with professionals from other consultancy areas. The team has strong capabilities also in other areas such as financing, mergers/spin-off, real estate development, white collar crime, and through collaboration with other consultants we also assist on litigation files.

The firm assists domestic and international clients from various industries such as automotive, transportation, real estate, medical, wholesale, construction, IT, and assists on cross boarder projects.

We assess all the relevant legal aspects applicable to the matter, analysing the relevant special literature and case-law, applying best practices precedents, having a thorough understanding and practical view on the law concepts and the legal issues, and producing clear and reliable legal documents.

We understand that each client is different, that it has its own communication style and approach in dealing with and carrying on the legal aspects, as well as different expectations from their legal consultants. We take time to understand the preferred communication style and delivery manner of legal advice for each client, we avoid applying patterns, but advising in the same time of the approach we recommend and raising with the client the risks and disadvantages of certain routes. We clarify the needs and expectations of the client from the preliminary phase, as well as the rationale and the objectives of the client behind a legal request, so as to ensure we implement and adapt (if the circumstances are changing from time to time) the actual clients’ expected results.
